G7 Group Holds Online Meeting on Ukraine's Independence Day

On August 24, there will be an online meeting of the G7 foreign ministers dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day. According to information from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Antonio Tajani confirmed full support for Kyiv in achieving a just and lasting peace.

The meeting, which will be held under the chairmanship of Canada, will start at 14:00 Central European Time (15:00 Kyiv time). One of the agenda items will be discussing the outcomes of the meeting of European leaders in Washington on August 18.

Tajani also noted that the facade of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, and the Colosseum will also be illuminated in these colors. On this day, Ukraine marks the 34th anniversary of its independence.
