Russian troops struck Kostiantynivka, destroying residential buildings

Today, on August 24, the Day of Independence of Ukraine, Russian troops carried out a strike on the city of Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. According to reports from Sergiy Horbunov, head of the Kostiantynivka city military administration, guided FAB-250 bombs were used in the center of the city.
Preliminary data indicate that there are casualties among the civilian population. The strike damaged the facades of administrative buildings, cultural institutions, several multi-story residential buildings, and garages.
Notably, the art school was affected, where the humanitarian center was located, where local residents received assistance, charged phones, and cleaned water for their families. Now this assistance point has also been damaged.
Horbunov noted: "But we know that Russia will not destroy our freedom! Every strike makes us stronger, more united, and unbreakable in our desire to prevail."
Earlier, the Russians attacked the Donetsk region with drones and airstrikes, resulting in the deaths of 8 people. A previous strike on Kostiantynivka resulted in the deaths of 3 people, with one more injured.
