Marquez wins the Grand Prix of Hungary and claims his seventh consecutive victory

On July 24, 2025, at the new track Balaton Park in Hungary, Marc Marquez claimed his seventh consecutive victory in MotoGP. The Spanish Ducati rider, who is competing for the title, won the race by pulling away in the final 4 seconds from Pedro Acosta, who finished second. Third place went to Marco Bezzecchi on Aprilia.
The race started with an unexpected twist: Bezzecchi started better and led at the beginning of the race, but Marquez quickly regained his position as leader. He achieved his 72nd career victory and maintained his lead in the championship with 175 points.
Fabio Quartararo finished tenth, as he received a penalty for an incident in the previous race. Johan Zarco was unable to finish the race due to a crash.
In Moto3 and Moto2
In Moto3, Maxim Kiles secured victory in a thrilling battle with Valentino Perrone, finishing first. David Munoz came in third. In Moto2, David Alonso won the race after an impressive attack, claiming his first title in this category.
The race in Hungary showcased a high level of competition across all classes, and also highlighted the strong performance of young talents in Moto3.
