Schottenheimer noted that he wants to clarify with Parsons why he acted that way. "As long as I don't talk to Micka, I can't discuss this," said the coach. After the game, Parsons posted on social media, saying he spent "a short time" on the sidelines. He emphasized that some did not want to comment on their teammates in the team.

Schottenheimer also stated that the results of MRT showed Parsons' spin on Friday were "quite clean," and the coach expects that Parsons will be ready to play in the season opener against Philadelphia Eagles on September 4. However, despite the positive news about health, Parsons' absence from the field is more related to unresolved negotiations regarding the contract with Jerry Jones than with issues related to the spin.
