Zelensky Demonstrates Ukraine's Military Achievements to Partners

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky demonstrated to the Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney the latest military achievements of Ukraine. This information was shared on September 24, 2025, on Facebook.

Zelensky noted that together with Carney they highlighted new Ukrainian developments – equipment and technology created in Ukraine for the protection of the state. "We are increasing our own production, and this is essential," he emphasized.

On the anniversary of Ukraine's independence, the president also met with the ministers of defense of partner countries. "This is a significant sign of solidarity with our soldiers and all the Ukrainian people," said Zelensky. He stressed the importance of developing Ukraine's defense industry and security guarantees, which are vital for the future of the country and the security of all of Europe.

Within the framework of the forum dedicated to defense cooperation, Zelensky met with representatives of defense ministries from Canada, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Estonia, and the United Kingdom. Participants discussed the effectiveness of financing the defense industry and also expressed interest in various forms of cooperation.

Zelensky also rejected the idea of security guarantees from Russia, stating that such guarantees should be provided to countries that the Ukrainian people trust. He emphasized that only allies can protect Ukraine from new aggressions from Russia.

The President of Ukraine stressed that security must be ensured not only on land but also in the air and at sea, and a strong Ukrainian army should be part of these guarantees.
