- The incident occurred during the KnokX Pro Wrestling show in Los Angeles
- Organizers and Raja's father expressed their condemnation regarding the assault
On August 24, 2025, an incident occurred in Los Angeles during a show of independent wrestling, where the son of former UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Raja Jackson, violently attacked professional wrestler Stuart Smith, known under the pseudonym Psycho Stu. The video recording of the incident shows how Raja entered the ring during the match and brutally struck Smith on the mat, after which he began to deliver blows to his face, even while he lay defenseless on the ring.
Quinton Jackson, Raja's father, expressed his disapproval of his son's actions and stated that he does not condone violence. He confirmed that Smith was conscious and stable after the incident. According to Quinton's words, Raja received a concussion during sparring a few days before this incident, which could have influenced his reaction.
The organizer of the show, KnokX Pro Wrestling, also expressed its outrage and stated that the incident was not planned. They emphasized that it should have been part of the show, but turned into an act of violence, which should not have happened. According to their statements, in the 17-year history of the organization, this was the first such incident.
The video, on which Smith is seen hitting Raja on the head with a bank before the incident, prompted further discussions about whether this incident was a self-defense. After the attack, Raja Jackson did not respond to requests for comments, and Smith also did not comment on the situation.
The Los Angeles police confirmed that they responded to the incident, but no arrests were made, and detectives will continue to investigate the case. The platform for streaming Kick, on which the incident was broadcast, stated that Raja's profile was suspended due to violations of their rules.
