Visit of Norway's Prime Minister to Ukraine
- Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre arrived in Kyiv on August 25.
- Norway has allocated 100 million dollars for natural gas for Ukraine.
- The visit was accompanied by a meeting with Ukrainian high-ranking officials.

On August 25, 2025, Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre arrived in Kyiv. The Norwegian leader was greeted at the railway station of the capital, as reported by Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.
Yermak, who met the Prime Minister along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, emphasized the importance of support from partners.
"For us, it is important to feel the support of true allies. Norway has always stood by our people, providing significant assistance to the Armed Forces, and we value this reliable solidarity," noted the head of the President's Office.
In addition, today in Kyiv also arrived Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Finance of Germany Lars Klingbeil, who reaffirmed his support for Ukraine in a joint statement.
Norway's Support for Ukraine
The government of Norway has decided to allocate almost 100 million dollars to Ukraine for the purchase of imported natural gas.
