Agreement on Joint Defense Production Between Ukraine and Lithuania

In Kyiv, the defense ministers of Ukraine and Lithuania, Oleksii Reznikov and Arvydas AnuĊĦauskas, signed the agreement on joint defense production. This document opens up new opportunities for cooperation in the defense sector, including the creation of a drone-based remote radius of action.
Reznikov noted that the signed agreement allows for the launch of joint enterprises, the development of Ukrainian companies in Lithuania, and the sharing of technologies. He also emphasized the importance of Lithuania's allocation of 0.25% of its GDP for military assistance to Ukraine until 2027.
During the discussion, the parties focused on attracting additional funding for the procurement of equipment and the development of the Ukrainian industry. Reznikov expressed gratitude to the Lithuanian side for their support and cooperation.
