Zelensky reported on the threat to Ukraine's winter preparations

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre on September 25 stated that the Russian Federation is trying to disrupt Ukraine's preparations for winter by attacking its energy infrastructure.

Moreover, under the pretext of the attack, objects that ensure not only electricity but also the production of natural gas are being targeted. "This concerns not only the generation of electricity and heat but also the production of natural gas. Therefore, we highly value Norway's assistance in purchasing gas for Ukraine," Zelensky noted.

He also emphasized that due to cooperation with Norway last winter, over a million Ukrainian families received assistance. "This year, the challenges are also significant. Norway has already included a decision to support our gas purchases, and we are counting on further steps," the president added.

In addition, Norway allocates approximately 7 billion Norwegian crowns (approximately 696.12 million US dollars) for financing a system of anti-aircraft defense for Ukraine.
