Scotland National Team Squad for Qualifying Matches to the World Cup
- Aaron Hickey returns to the squad after a lengthy injury.
- The Scotland squad will face Denmark and Belarus in the upcoming matches.
- Endy Robertson remains optimistic about the team's chances of qualifying.
Aaron Hickey returns to the Scotland squad for the first time in almost two years before the start of the qualification for the World Cup.
The "Brentford" footballer Hickey, who made two appearances as a substitute in the Premier League last week, had been absent since receiving a yellow card in June 2023. His last appearance for the national team was also in that month.
Along with him, the team will see Ryan Christie and Lyndon Dykes return after serious injuries. Goalkeeper "Hearts" Clark, likely, will be the first choice, as Angus Gunn and Liam Kelly have not played this season for their clubs.
The Scotland squad will meet Denmark on September 5, and three days later – with Belarus. Greece is also a contender in Group C.
