Germany has committed to providing Ukraine with 9 billion euros this year over the next few years. This was stated by the German Minister of Finance and Vice-Chancellor Lars Klinsgbaile during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Klinsgbaile emphasized that the federal government of Germany supports Ukraine and that this amount was agreed upon at the government level. He also discussed with Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko the possibility of further support for Ukraine.

After arriving in Kyiv on September 25, Klinsgbaile noted that support for Ukraine from Germany will remain unwavering, especially in the face of pressure from the Kremlin.
