The Odesa football club Chornomorets officially announced the signing of a contract with experienced central defender Yevhen Khacheridi. The player, who is well-known for his performances for Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team, is now part of the team under the leadership of Oleksandr Kuchera.

Khacheridi is already 38 years old, but he continues to play at a high level. In recent years, he played for amateur teams Shturn (Ivankiv) and Avangard (Lozova), and he also returned to professional football after a break. It is known that last season Chornomorets, under Kuchera's leadership, finished just below the First League, and now the team plans to return to the elite of Ukrainian football.

The official press service of Chornomorets noted that Khacheridi's experience will be an important contribution to the team. "Yevhen is a multiple champion of Ukraine, a holder of national trophies, a participant in the Euro with the Ukrainian national team. Now his experience and reliability will help the team achieve new heights!" – is stated in the club's announcement.

Chornomorets currently occupies second place in the tournament table of the First League, having scored seven points after three rounds.
