Zelenskyy states that Russia is not making any concessions

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with German Chancellor and Finnish Minister Lars Klingbeil stated that Russia's promises not to seize more territory of Ukraine are not concessions. He noted that such statements cannot be considered compromises, as they propose that Ukraine leave territories that Russia does not control.

Zelenskyy emphasized that discussions of such proposals go beyond international law. According to him, a meeting at the level of leaders is possible exclusively from Moscow and Washington, especially since the USA on March 7 prohibited the provision of weapons that Ukraine supported.

Earlier, US Vice President J. D. Vance stated that Russia is ready for further concessions, while Zelenskyy insisted that this concerns the issue of territorial integrity of Ukraine. He emphasized that Russia's demand for the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbas is unacceptable.
