Russian Forces Conducted Airstrike on Kostiantynivka, Four Civilians Injured

On August 25, 2025, from 11:20 to 12:00, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the city of Kostiantynivka, located in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

As a result of the attack, five FAB-250 bombs were used, which hit residential areas of the city. Four civilians were injured: a 26-year-old man and three women aged 51, 74, and 85.

The victims sustained injuries from the explosion, including shrapnel wounds, lacerations, and contusions. Two of them are in serious condition. All received qualified medical assistance.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kostiantynivka district prosecutor's office, a criminal investigation has been initiated regarding the fact of the war crime (Article 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Additionally, as a result of the strike, 21 residential buildings and power transmission lines were damaged.

This attack occurred on the heels of the previous airstrike on August 24, when Russian forces also inflicted strikes on the city, damaging, among other things, the local school.
