The Irish rap group Kneecap canceled their tour in the USA due to a court ruling, which is scheduled for February 26 in London. Group member Liam O'Ghanagh, known under the stage name Mo Chara, is accused of participating in a demonstration supporting Hezbollah during a performance last year.
The group denies supporting either Hamas or Hezbollah, and refers to the case as politically "motivated" from the side of the British government. They expressed regret over the cancellation of 15 planned concerts in the yellow, which were fully sold out.
The group also confirmed that their performances in Canada, including in Vancouver and Toronto, will proceed as planned. On social media, they promised to share "some exclusives" for their fans in the USA next week.
