In California, the search for 7-month-old Emmanuel Garro, who went missing on September 14, is ongoing. His parents, 32-year-old Jake Garro and 23-year-old Rebecca Garro, were arrested on suspicion of murder after their statements were found to be inconsistent.
Rebecca Garro claimed that she was attacked while changing her son’s diaper outside a store in Yucca Valley. However, investigators found that her statements did not match the facts that led to the arrest of both parents.
The sheriff of San Bernardino County stated that "it is believed that Emmanuel is deceased," and the search for him continues. The latest operation took place in Morongo Valley, where the father provided police with leads in the search.
Investigators uncovered a criminal history of Jake Garro, who had previously been convicted of child endangerment. Following the arrest of the parents, both remain in custody without bail, while the search for Emmanuel continues.
