Police Uncover Criminal Group in Los Angeles and Arrest All Individuals

On August 25, 2025, the Los Angeles police announced the arrest of all eight individuals, who are accused in a series of apartment burglaries in the city. This group, known as "Rich Rollin'", is suspected in 92 burglaries that began as early as 2022. Most of the crimes occurred in 2024 and 2025.
The arrested individuals range in age from 22 to 47 years, six of them were arrested on charges related to burglaries and possession of narcotics, while two others, who had already been under scrutiny for previous charges, also received new accusations.
The operation that led to the arrests began with an investigation that was activated in the summer, when police noticed a suspicious vehicle associated with the burglaries. During the raids conducted on September 20, law enforcement discovered a large quantity of stolen goods, including 15 firearms, as well as stolen property such as jewelry and credit cards.
According to information from prosecutors, the criminals utilized sophisticated methods, such as installing surveillance cameras in apartments to monitor victims. They also used jammers to block signals from wireless security cameras.
District Attorney Natan Kakhman stated that the police collaborates with major online marketplaces, such as Amazon and eBay, to identify individuals who sell stolen goods.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass emphasized that reducing crime rates is a priority for the city.
