Discussions on Security Guarantees for Ukraine with British Military

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, met with the Chief of the Defence Staff of the United Kingdom, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, and his successor, Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.
During the meeting, they discussed:
- reliable security guarantees for Ukraine;
- strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities;
- long-term support in the war against Russia;
- maximizing sanctions and political pressure on the aggressor.
Umerov expressed gratitude to partners for comprehensive assistance and unwavering support that the United Kingdom provides to Ukraine.
Earlier, Admiral Radakin emphasized that the United Kingdom is ready to send its troops to Ukraine for the protection of its borders and ports. However, he stressed that British soldiers will not be deployed to the front lines.
It was also reported that the USA has closed Europe to provide Ukraine with "significant" security guarantees.
