On August 25, 2025, in Los Angeles, the popular South Korean group BTS performed the ceremonial first pitch at the game between the Dodgers and the Reds. Before the game, the singer met with superstar baseball player Shohei Ohtani and took several photographs.

Starting from the entrance to the podium, where the three were waiting in a big pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who caught his precise pitch. Fans joyfully reacted to the return of the singer to the field when he returned to throw the ceremonial first pitch with his left hand.

The singer, also known as Kim Tae-hyung, wore a jersey with the number 7 and jeans, and posed with pitcher Taylor Glasnow in front of the cameras. After he performed the first pitch for the fans, he returned to the field for the ceremonial first pitch.

BTS plans to release a new album in the fall of the upcoming year, following a break related to military service obligations of the group members in South Korea. Since July 2025, they have been working on new music in the USA.
