Discussing Joint Actions to Stop the War in Ukraine

• Joint actions are being discussed by the ministers of the foreign affairs

On August 26, 2025, U.S. Secretary of State Mark Rubio held negotiations with a number of European foreign ministers, as well as with the Ukrainian foreign minister Andrii Sybiha. The aim of these negotiations was to establish joint diplomatic efforts to achieve a lasting peace settlement of the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Along with the information, on the telephone call were also present foreign ministers from Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom, and a representative of the European Union on foreign affairs and security policy, Josep Borrell.

Participants of the meeting agreed to continue cooperation in diplomatic efforts to conclude the war through a lasting peace settlement.
