Russia attacks Sumy region with drones, there are casualties

On the night of September 25-26, Russian forces carried out a series of drone attacks on several communities in the Sumy region. The attacks resulted in fires, damage to residential and non-residential buildings, and also left part of the population without electricity.
Details: At 01:00 a drone strike occurred in the Shostka community, as a result of which some residents were left without electricity, and a residential building was also damaged.
At 03:00 Russian troops attacked the Sumy and Bezdrykivka communities. These strikes caused fires and damage to residential and agricultural buildings.
Two women from the Bezdrykivka community required medical assistance: a 51-year-old was hospitalized, and a 63-year-old was provided assistance on-site.
Additionally, Russians damaged non-residential premises and equipment in the Putivl community.
On the night of September 26, serious explosions were also heard in Sumy. Military personnel warned about detected drones in the region, noting that their course was directed to the west.
The first explosion occurred around 03:27 Kyiv time. It was reported that the air defense system was active, and people were advised to stay in shelters.
