Lucas Vazquez transfers to Bayer Leverkusen after Real Madrid

Lucas Vazquez transfers to Bayer Leverkusen after concluding his career at Real Madrid. Known for his versatility, he played as both a right winger and a right back.
The 34-year-old footballer, who spent 18 years at the Madrid club, leaves Real Madrid after participating in the club's world championship. Throughout his career, he has won 20 trophies, including five league titles.
Vazquez, who is a product of the Real Madrid academy, previously played on loan at Espanyol during the 2014-2015 season. Before transferring to Leverkusen, he will first test his skills outside of Spain.
All terms between Vazquez and Bayer Leverkusen have already been agreed upon, and he has successfully undergone a medical examination. The official signing of the contract is expected to happen soon.
Under the leadership of Xabi Alonso, Leverkusen plans to strengthen their team, combining youth and experience, with the aim of improving their results in Germany and Europe.
