A robotic dog has begun its work in the Kyiv region, assisting sappers in demining. It has been introduced into operation at the rapid response mobile center of the State Emergency Service for emergency situations in Ukraine.
This robot is designed for effective and safe support of demining operations. It is equipped with advanced technologies, including computer vision systems and intelligent motion control.
The robotic dog has a high-resolution camera, which allows it to transmit clear images in real-time, enabling sappers to assess the situation from a distance.
The multi-jointed system allows it to perform complex maneuvers, such as climbing, descending, and traversing on two legs. The optimized power system ensures high speed and long operation time without interruption.
Unlike traditional robotic manipulators, which are effective only on flat surfaces, this robot can operate in both urban and natural environments, including slopes, ditches, rocky areas, grass, and dense vegetation. Its construction ensures stability and maneuverability in conditions where other equipment might struggle.
The integration of this robotic assistant into the demining process not only enhances the efficiency of operations but also significantly reduces risks for human personnel.
