Russian forces have occupied two villages in the Dnipro region

On August 26, 2025, the analytical project DeepState reported on the occupation of the villages of Zaporizhzhia and Novo-Hryhorivka by Russian troops in the Dnipro region. These are the first villages in this region that have been completely taken under the control of the occupiers.

According to DeepState data, Russian troops have also advanced in the area of Shevchenko village in Donetsk region, as well as in the villages of Bila Hora and Oleksandro-Shultyne, which are in the direction of the city of Kostiantynivka.

Zaporizhzhia and Novo-Hryhorivka are located at the intersection of the administrative borders of Dnipro, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Earlier, only partial control over the territories was reported, but now these two villages have become the first cases of total occupation in the Dnipro region.
