Agreement between Ukraine and Great Britain on the production of drones

On July 26, 2025, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksii Reznikov, met with military leaders of Great Britain to discuss cooperation in drone production. During the meeting, the Chief of the Defence Staff of Great Britain, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, stated that Britain continues to provide substantial support to Ukraine and is ready to develop cooperation in the defense sector.

The main topic of discussion was the urgent needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including increasing drone production in partnership with British industry. There were also discussions regarding international efforts to create effective security guarantees and the work of the Coalition for Basic Achievements of Sustainable Peace.

Reznikov thanked Great Britain for its leadership and support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. He emphasized that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the production of drones in Ukraine has increased by 35 times, and the goal is to continue this growth.

In July of this year, Ukraine signed a memorandum with the American company Swift Beat regarding the expansion of drone production capabilities, and also concluded an agreement with Denmark on the launch of a joint drone production line for long-range operations.

At the meeting, representatives from Lithuania were also present, who announced the organization of the production of Ukrainian drones on their territory. The Lithuanian Minister of National Defence, Arvydas Anušauskas, expressed support for Ukraine, planning to allocate more than 200 million euros for projects related to drone production and other initiatives.

Along with the announcement, cooperation in the field of drone production and other military technologies remains a priority for many partner countries of Ukraine in the context of increasing threats from Russia.
