Americans' expectations regarding income, business conditions, and the job market have decreased by 1.2 points to 74.8, which remains significantly below the threshold of 80, which could indicate a possible recession. The assessment of consumers regarding their current economic situation also fell to 131.2 in September from 132.8 in August.
