Victoria Beckham's Firm Achieves Sales Growth Despite Losses
- Sales of Victoria Beckham's firm increased by 27% in 2024.
- Operating losses of the company rose to £1.6 million sterling.
- Received financing of £6.2 million sterling to support the business.
Victoria Beckham's firm, which specializes in fashion and cosmetics, reported a 27% increase in sales in 2024, reaching £112.7 million sterling. This marks the fourth consecutive year in which the company has demonstrated positive dynamics. The main driver of growth has been online sales, as well as the popularity of new cosmetic products, including the eyeliner Satin Kajal Liner.
However, despite the increase in revenues, the business reported operational losses of £1.6 million sterling, which is an increase compared to the previous year. According to reports, the company has not recorded operational profit since its establishment in 2008.
Victoria Beckham received additional financing in the form of a loan of £6.2 million sterling from investors, including David Beckham, to support plans for growth and optimize spending. The loan was provided in connection with tangible assets, which may help the company continue its operations.
Despite the challenges, the firm plans to expand its presence in stores, particularly in key markets such as the United Kingdom and France. It is expected that a new documentary series about Victoria Beckham, which will be shown on Netflix, will also contribute to increasing the brand's popularity.
