Benfica made a proposal to Donetsk Shakhtar regarding the transfer of attacking midfielder Georgiy Sudakov, offering a sum ranging from 25 to 27 million euros. The Ukrainian club has started negotiations, demanding nearly 30 million euros for the player.

Sudakov has become a priority candidate for Benfica after the club lost several players, including Tiago Almada, Joao Felix, and Mohamed Amoura. Talks about Sudakov's sale have been ongoing for more than a year, but in 2024 the player may leave Shakhtar if the club agrees to the proposed price.

At the same time, Benfica goalkeeper Antoniy Trubin reacted to rumors about Sudakov's potential transfer, hinting at his joining the team in a cryptic post on social media.

According to Transfermarkt data, Sudakov's valuation is 32 million euros, which makes him one of the most promising footballers in the Ukrainian Premier League.
