The head coach of the US men's national team, Mauricio Pochettino, announced his squad for the friendly matches against South Korea and Japan. In the squad – the return of Christian Pulishch, who missed the Golden Cube due to injury, however Weston Mckennie did not make the list.
Pulishch is returning after criticism for missing the Golden Cube, which sparked discussions about his status in the team. Mckennie, who also missed the Golden Cube, has not been included in the squad due to limited playing time in Juventus.
Among other absentees are Giovanni Reyna and Matt Turner, who did not make the list due to club changes. Meanwhile, the squad has new faces, such as Jonas Klinsmann, son of the former national team coach.
The US national team will play against South Korea on June 6 in Harrison, New Jersey, and on June 10 – against Japan in Columbus, Ohio.
