Denial of the Capture of Zaporizke and Novoheorhiivka

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied information about the capture of the settlements of Zaporizke and Novoheorhiivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region by Russian troops. This was stated by the spokesperson of the General Staff, Major Andrii Kovalov.

According to him, the data being circulated in the media is untrue. "In these populated areas, there are no Russian occupiers," Kovalov noted.

He also reported that today the enemy is trying to infiltrate the Dnipropetrovsk region through groups of saboteurs and scouts. Their activities are ongoing on the border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, and the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively detecting and eliminating enemy forces.

The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian forces continue to control the village of Zaporizke, regardless of attempts by the enemy to capture it. Intense battles are also ongoing near Novoheorhiivka, where Ukrainian forces are inflicting significant losses on the enemy, eliminating dozens of occupiers every day.
