Wildlife Photography of the Year Competition Showcases Stunning Nature Photography

  • The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition received over 60,000 entries.
  • The winners will be announced on January 14, 2025.
  • The exhibition opens on January 17 at the Natural History Museum in London.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition announced the exhibition of some of the most striking photographs of wildlife that will be presented at the exhibition taking place in London.
This year, over 60,000 entries were submitted to the competition, from which 100 of the best images were selected. The winners will be announced on January 14, 2025, and the exhibition will open on January 17 at the Natural History Museum.

Among the works that received high praise is an image of young leopards demonstrating their swimming skills, as well as a red deer bellowing during the autumn mating season.
The photograph "Deadly Lessons" by Spanish photographer Marina Canovaca shows how young leopards swim in the Atlantic, while "Rutting Call" by Jamie Smart captures a red deer vocalizing during mating season.

The competition also features works that highlight current issues, including "Toxic Tip" by Lakshiti Karunaratne, which depicts a sloth searching for food in a landfill in Sri Lanka. The photographs demonstrate how ecological challenges impact wildlife in different parts of the world.

The exhibition will serve as a platform for raising awareness about the importance of preserving the natural environment. It will continue its journey around the world to inspire people to protect nature.
