Canada Confirms Readiness for Meeting Between Zelensky and Putin

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin will meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss the conditions for ending the war. According to Carney, Putin constantly sets new conditions and delays the process, as he feels fear before this meeting.

Zelensky, according to Carney's information, is ready to meet with Putin on any neutral territory. The Prime Minister noted that the Ukrainian leader does not expect Putin to leave Kyiv, nor does he have plans to go to Moscow for the meeting. Meanwhile, the meeting could take place in another location that would be acceptable for both sides.

Carney emphasized the importance of continued support for Ukraine from allied countries until the meeting takes place.
