Newcastle proposes £55 million for Jorgen Strand Larsen
- Newcastle has submitted a proposal for Strand Larsen worth £55 million
- The player wants to move to Newcastle, but not under pressure from the club
- Ulvhempton considers Strand Larsen an important player for the team
Newcastle United has made a second proposal in the amount of £55 million for the forward Jorgen Strand Larsen, who was previously rejected by Ulvhempton. This came after the first proposal of £50 million was also not accepted.
The Ulvhempton club remains interested in Strand Larsen's importance to the team and does not plan to sell before the transfer window closes. The player wishes to move to Newcastle, however, not under pressure from the club, showing preference for Ulvhempton.
Strand Larsen was signed by Ulvhempton last summer for €27 million and has already started to shine with two goals in a match against West Ham. Newcastle is looking for a replacement for Callum Wilson, who left the club, and is considering negotiations with several other players.
The next match for Newcastle will be against Leeds, while Ulvhempton will host Everton in their next game.
