The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a telephone conversation with the President of Finland Alexander Stubb, during which they discussed the issue of security for Ukraine.
Zelensky noted that the conversation took place on August 27. The leaders coordinated their positions for achieving significant results in security matters. "Our teams are actively preparing the architecture of strong and multifaceted security guarantees for Ukraine," he stated.
The President also emphasized the importance of pressure on Russia for achieving peace negotiations. He pointed out that Russia continues to deliver strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, which complicates the situation.
Alexander Stubb, in turn, confirmed that the plan for supporting Ukraine's security guarantees is being implemented, and called for pressure on Russia to make it a strong party at the negotiation table.
Zelensky thanked Stubb for constructive comments and invited him to visit Kyiv.
