Volkswagen T-Roc 2026 Receives New Design and Hybrid Engines

Volkswagen has introduced the new generation T-Roc, which will be available on the market in November 2026. This compact crossover has a length of 4373 mm, which is 120 mm longer than the previous model. The design of the new T-Roc is distinguished from its predecessor by larger aggressive forms and new elements, such as the contour of the LED headlights and colorful accents.

The new model will be available with several engine options. At the start of sales, two mild-hybrid variants of the 1.5 TSI engine will be offered, with outputs of 116 and 150 hp. In 2026, Volkswagen plans to introduce a full hybrid engine with outputs of 136 or 170 hp, which will be a novelty for the brand.

The interior of the T-Roc has also undergone changes. The cabin features a new 10-inch digital display and a 12.9-inch touchscreen for the multimedia system. Volkswagen emphasizes the quality of materials and convenience in the interior, aiming to make the interior intuitively understandable.

In addition to this, Volkswagen announced the return of the sporty version T-Roc R in 2027, which will also feature a hybrid powertrain. This version will be more powerful and maintain an aggressive design aesthetic.
