On August 27, 2025, at around 9:20 AM in Kup'yansk (Kharkiv region), a Russian FPV drone struck a civilian vehicle.

As a result of the attack, a 69-year-old man and his 63-year-old girlfriend were injured, as reported by the press service of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a criminal investigation regarding the fact of the military crime (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
