Nigel Farage has changed his position on the deportation of all immigrants who arrive in Great Britain by small boats, following the announcement of the press conference in Oxford. Initially, he stated that he plans to deport hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants over the first five years of the Reform government, and also to pay for authoritarian regimes, such as the Taliban, for the return of immigrants.
At the press conference in Edinburgh, Farage emphasized that the issue of women and children is not a priority, especially since there are many illegal people in the country. When he was asked about the safety of women in Great Britain, he refused to confirm the deportation of women and girls, stating that this issue is not part of their five-year plan.
Farage also declined to comment on his previous remarks regarding the review of the Good Friday Agreement, stating that the situation in Northern Ireland is very complicated. He confirmed that his press conference was the beginning of a national discussion on the deportation of immigrants.
In addition, Farage presented Grem Simpson, who became a new deputy from Reform in Scotland, after leaving the Scottish Conservative Party. Simpson urged his former colleagues to return to him for mutual ideas, stating that his door will always be open for new thoughts.
Recently, protests against immigrants took place in Scotland, but did not reach the scale of similar protests in England. The leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Russell Findlay, supported these protests, referring to a case involving an Afghan asylum seeker who was sentenced to nine years in connection with a crime.
