The film, produced by Meggie Kan and Kris Appelhands, tells the story of the popular girl group HUNTR/X, who lead a double life, battling the villainous group Saja Boys, who turn out to be demons. Since its release, KPop Demon Hunters has set new records, including receiving the highest ratings from critics and viewers on Rotten Tomatoes for original content.
The soundtrack of the film has also gained popularity, with the song Golden, which became the first song of all time performed by a female trio in K-pop to hit the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
