President of the USA Donald Trump expressed discontent in his post on the social platform Truth Social about the decision of NBC to continue the contract of the host of the Late Night program Seth Meyers. Trump called this "a horrible feeling" and doubts the talent of the host, asserting that he "has no ratings, talent, or intellect."

The decision to extend the contract was announced by NBC in April 2024. Meyers signed a four-year agreement that allows him to remain the host until 2028. Trump, however, noted that it is unclear why NBC made this move and promised to investigate further.

This post by Trump came a month after CBS announced the cancellation of the program The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Trump happily commented on this news, emphasizing that other hosts, such as Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, could also be next in line for cancellation. Nevertheless, Meyers continues to remain the host, regardless of the criticism from Trump, and continues to mock the president in his appearances.
