Ukrainian athletes Yaroslav Makhuchikh, Yuliya Levchenko, and Oleg Doroshchuk will participate in the competitions.
The first day of the competition will start on September 27 at 18:15 Kyiv time. On this day, there will be six events, including the women's high jump, where Makhuchikh and Levchenko will compete. Makhuchikh has a chance to win her fourth diamond, which will allow her to equal the number of victories with the Russian athlete Maria Lasitskene.
The second day of the final, September 28, will start at 18:53 Kyiv time. Oleg Doroshchuk will represent Ukraine in the men's high jump. Notably, this year he will not be competing against such superstars as Gianmarco Tamberi and Mutaz Barshim, which may influence the results.
Among other participants in the final, there are athletes who qualified for the Olympic championships Noya Lailasa and Letsile Tebogo in the 200 meters, as well as Swede Mondo Duplantis, who is aiming to win his fifth diamond.
The final promises to be exciting, as many athletes may have chances for records and medals, adding extra intrigue to the competitions.
