Emma Heming Willis spoke about the challenges faced by her husband, Bruce Willis, due to a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. The actor's family disclosed his condition in February 2023. This diagnosis affects communication and behavior.

In a special episode of the ABC program "Emma and Bruce Willis: Unbreakable Bond," Emma revealed how she coped with the news of the diagnosis. She noted that she initially isolated herself and struggled after receiving the diagnosis. "It was a tough time. I didn't know how to tell the kids about it," she said.

Emma became a 24/7 caregiver for Bruce, which required limiting the activities of their two young daughters, Mabel and Evelyn. She explained that she initially isolated the entire family to avoid stress for her husband. However, over time she realized that she needed help and made the difficult decision to move Bruce to a separate facility for receiving specialized care.

Despite this, Bruce remains active in family life. Emma spends time with him every day for lunch and dinner, and she also confirms that their relationship remains strong. "He holds our hands, we hug him," she added.

Emma also published a book titled "Unbreakable Bond," which will be available from September 9. In it, she shares her experiences and the challenges she faced as a caregiver.
