Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, together with the government team, has launched a working visa to Denmark. This visa is the first of its kind in the new role of the Prime Minister and takes place at a time when Denmark holds the presidency of the European Council.
At a meeting with Minister of Business Morten Bodskov, it was announced that Denmark will allocate another 500 million Danish kroner for the Ukraine Fund for reconstruction projects. Frederiksen emphasized that from the beginning of the full-scale aggression, Ukraine received nearly 9 billion euros in military assistance and 907 million euros in civilian support from the Danish government.
The visa program includes meetings with Danish and international companies that can invest in the reconstruction of Ukraine. Denmark actively supports financing of construction and infrastructure projects. Currently, nearly 100 of Denmark's largest companies are already investing in Ukraine.
The Danish government has also signed a Memorandum on mutual understanding, which aims to expand cooperation between the countries. The guaranteed capital will allow support for investment projects totaling at least 1.5 billion kroner.
