Do Not Charge Tommy Robinson for the Attack in St. Pancras

  • Tommy Robinson will not be charged in connection with the attack.
  • The victim did not provide evidence for the investigation.
  • The Crown Prosecution Service did not find grounds for charging.

The British transport police reported that the Crown Prosecution Service has decided that Tommy Robinson will not be charged with criminal liability for the attack, unless the alleged victim "did not provide evidence for the investigation".

Human rights activists noted that after the report of the attack at the St. Pancras station on July 28, detectives conducted a full investigation. A 42-year-old man was arrested at Luton airport on August 4 on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm.

The police worked quickly to gather evidence, including video recordings from surveillance cameras and eyewitness testimonies. However, the victim did not provide evidence for the investigation.

The file for the accused was forwarded to the Crown Prosecution Service, which is responsible for the assessment of collected evidence and making decisions regarding the possibility of filing charges. After reviewing the available evidence, the prosecution concluded that there are no real prospects for prosecution, thus criminal charges in this case will not be brought.
