The film Happy Gilmore 2 is now available on Netflix. This sequel is a continuation of the original film from 1996, in which Adam Sandler plays the role of Happy Gilmore, a former hockey player who turns to golf to raise money for his daughter’s education at a ballet school in Paris.
The new installment of the film features many familiar characters, including Virginia Venit (Julie Bowen) and Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald). The trailer also includes several cameos from celebrities, including Travis Kelce, Guy Fieri, Kid Cudi, and Eminem.
One of the most notable scenes is a reference to the late Cameron Boyce, who played Sandler's son in the film Grown Ups. In the film, the characters are seen watching an episode of the show Jessie, in which Boyce played the role of Luke Ross. This scene elicited strong emotions from viewers who remember Boyce.
In addition, the film includes elements of social satire on modern golf, particularly through competition with new leagues like LIV Golf. The trailer features several cameos that make it even more interesting for fans.
