The Houthis from Yemen announced their intention to attack any ships that have connections to Israel. On July 27, Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the group, which receives support from Iran, will target ships that cooperate with Israeli ports.
Saree warned all companies about the necessity to refrain from any cooperation with Israel, otherwise the ships, regardless of their designated ports, will be attacked within the reach of their missiles and drones.
They also called on all countries that wish to prevent further escalation to put pressure on Israel to stop its aggression and lift the blockade of Gaza. The Houthis emphasized that they bear moral and humanitarian responsibility for the people in Gaza.
Situation in Gaza
On July 27, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced the complete suspension of military actions in Gaza for the delivery of humanitarian aid. Military actions will be suspended from 10:00 to 20:00 local time in designated zones.
IDF also canceled the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza. According to the information from the Israeli energy minister Eli Cohen, the country decided to increase the supply of humanitarian aid to avoid possible sanctions from the EU.
At the same time, US President Donald Trump, commenting on the suspension of negotiations for a ceasefire, stated that Israel must decide to end its further actions against Hamas.
