Luis Díaz has confirmed his transfer to Bayern for 75 million euros after three successful years at Liverpool. This comes after he declined to sign a new contract with the club.

Díaz, known as "Lucho," joined Liverpool in January 2022 from Porto. During this time, he scored 41 goals in 148 matches, becoming an important part of the team.

The transfer to Bayern is the result of his desire to seek new challenges. Díaz declined to sign a new contract, which forced Liverpool to negotiate. Initially, the club was reluctant to sell the player, but considering his desire to stay with the team, he signed the agreement.

Liverpool has already signed Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt for a total of 79 million euros, allowing the team to strengthen its attacking potential after Díaz's departure.

The transfer takes place during the active summer transfer window, in which Newcastle is also interested in signing Alexander Isak.
