Oscar Piastri won the Belgian Grand Prix, increasing his lead in the Formula 1 championship. The race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit was delayed by over an hour due to heavy rain, but started on the fifth lap under a safety car.

Piastri, who started second, successfully overtook his teammate from the Lando Norris team on the first lap. "I had to be aggressive. I got a good start and managed to stay very close to him," noted Piastri after the race.

After the start of the race, Norris, who started from pole, was trying to maintain his position, but made a mistake that led to losing speed. Piastri took advantage of this moment, overtaking Norris when he was unable to accelerate due to problems with the car's control.

As a result, Piastri finished first, securing his sixth win of the season. Norris finished third, trailing Piastri by more than three seconds, but noted that he was satisfied with the race, despite the difficulties with the car control on the wet track.

Also in the points was Charles Leclerc from the Ferrari team, who took third place. The next race will take place at the Hungarian Grand Prix, where both McLaren drivers will compete again for the win.
