Only two days at the swimming world championships in Singapore
- Summer McIntosh is aiming to win five gold medals at the championships.

- Yu Cydy, a 12-year-old swimmer, will also compete in the finals.
SINGAPORE (AP) — On the second day of the world swimming championships in Singapore, Canadian swimmer Summer McIntosh has the chance to win her second gold medal. After winning the competition in the 400 meters freestyle, she is once again in the spotlight.
The 18-year-old athlete aims to secure five individual gold medals this week. On Monday, she is a favorite in the 200 meters individual medley, where she set a world record time of 2:05.70 in the Canadian trials.
Among her rivals is American Alex Walsh, as well as the 12-year-old Chinese star Yu Cydy, who impressed the world with her results.
In addition, the program also includes finals in the 100 meters breaststroke, where favorites include China's Qin Haiyan and Italy's Nicolo Marinenchi, as well as a final in the 50 meters butterfly.
On Monday, there will be three semifinals: in the 100 meters men's sprint, in the 200 meters men's freestyle, and in the 100 meters women's sprint.
