Liberation of Kindrativka Affects Security in Sumy
- The liberation of Kindrativka has reduced the number of attacks by the Russians.
- In the Sumy region, active defensive operations continue.
- The enemy continues to use drones for attacks on civilians.
This was reported by RBC Ukraine, Ukrinform.
On July 27, Ukrainian troops liberated the village of Kindrativka in the Sumy region. This liberation allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strengthen their positions and stop the advancement of Russian troops, noted Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Demchenko reported that after the liberation of Kindrativka, the number of attacks by Russians on the subdivisions of the State Border Guard Service in this area has decreased. "The level of activity that was observed at the beginning of Russian operations in the Sumy region is no longer present," he emphasized.
He also mentioned that all components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including border guards, are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation and prevent further advancement of Russian troops. Currently, there is active opposition from the enemy in the towns of Yunakivka and Khotyn, where the Russians are trying to penetrate into Sumy region.
In this context, it is important to note that Ukrainian forces are actively conducting both offensive and counter-offensive operations, which help to maintain the situation under control. However, despite the reduced attacks, the enemy continues to use drones for terrorist attacks, aimed not only at Ukrainian defenders but also at the civilian population.
