Luka Doncic Improves His Physical Condition During Training

Luka Doncic, an NBA star, noted that this summer he made a "big leap" in improving his health and physical preparation. After two months of intense training in Croatia, he remarked that "his whole body looks better." According to Men's Health Magazine, Doncic adhered to a gluten-free, low-carb diet with a high protein content – primarily 250 grams a day.
It is known that Doncic conducts training in a quiet Croatian village along with his personal trainer, performing two 90-minute sessions. These trainings include strength exercises, speed work, and shooting. Along with the information, he trains on a shooting machine, performing exercises with resistance, which promotes his physical progress.
Doncic, who continues his career in the NBA, faced criticism regarding his weight, and this summer he actively worked on his form in anticipation of the upcoming season and EuroBasket, where he will represent Slovenia. He noted that he does not need a break, adding, "as long as I stop right now, it will be fine." Doncic emphasized that last summer was significant for him, and he received inspiration from basketball legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, who also included a lot of sweat in their training.
According to his physiotherapist Xavier Barri, this summer Doncic focused on improving his technique of stopping and controlling speed, which are important aspects of his game. Doncic plans to continue working on himself, as he believes this is just the beginning of his transformation.
